Reading and writing task to begin or to conclude a unit of study around des bédéistes franco-canadien.ne.s : Francophone, Canadian comic and graphic novel authors. Links to current and relevant Quebec websites to support research are included. Can easily be extended to a spoken production task; a spoken interaction and action-oriented task based on students arriving at an agreement about who is Québec's most important bédéiste would be a stronger extension. Initially created for Grade 12 Extended French (FEF4U), but also relevant for Grades 10-12 Immersion (FIF2D, FIF3U, FIF4U) or Grade 12 Core French (FSF4U).
